Everything You Need to Know Celebrity Apex
Celebrity Cruises has redesigned cruising with the Edge Class. Today we are going to tell you everything you need to know about the brand new Celebrity Apex. We are going to go over dining, drinks, entertainment, staterooms and more so be sure to check it out.
The Celebrity Apex is the second Celebrity ship in the Edge Class which has some cool new features. Her sister ship is the Celebrity Edge but the Apex does have some differences which we go over. The Apex can accommodate 2,910 passengers. Its weight is 129,500 tons and has a length of 1,004ft or 306m. Out of celebrities 14 ships, the Apex and Edge are the two largest.
Our Celebrity Apex cruise ship tour will start with dining. The Celebrity Apex has 25 restaurants, bars and lounges on board for you to enjoy. There look to be some nice dining options that are included but there are a lot more specialty options. We will let you know what is included and what is an additional charge.

Something which I have not seen offered before anywhere else is what Celebrity calls, Autism Friendly Ships. This program offers interactive activities for families, sensory friendly films and toys and dietary options. Some of the other services for families with kids who have autism is priority check-in, boarding and departing, camp at sea toilet trained policy exception, flexible grouping by age and more. There are also supports for adults with autism. If any of the programs are something that you would be interested in make sure you talk to Celebrity Cruises when booking or your cruise travel agent.
Another important category for our Celebrity Apex cruise ship tour is entertainment. The theatre has a new 20 foot tall 4k LED screen that spans 110 feet around the stage. Here is where they will have the brand new production Tree of Life. Rockumentary is another performance in the Theatre where you can enjoy rock and music through different decades. The Pool deck on the apex is not like your typical cruise ship, it has a very modern feel. On the Apex you will find the largest pool celebrity has with a 25 yard lap pool which is just shy of ½ an Olympic sized pool. There is also a lot of kids to enjoy on the Celebrity Apex in their Camp at Sea. Kids won’t be bored with over 500 activities, video games and enrichment at sea.
An area I am very excited about is the gym. Celebrity Apex has chosen a prime location for the gym with lots of windows to enjoy the views while working out. They also have some great group classes to join so you can stay active on your trip. Celebrity Cruises are known for their thermal spas and they have lots of treatment options as well. If you want to stay active or relax the Celebrity Apex has you covered.
On the Celebrity Apex there are a lot of options and new features in the staterooms. They have redesigned the space to allow for bigger washrooms and king beds in 99% of the rooms. In our video we review all the classes of staterooms from smallest to largest. One of the big new features on the Celebrity Edge Class of ships is the infinity veranda. We are really interested to try this and see what passengers thing of it.
