Satu'Li Canteen in Disney’s Animal Kingdom
The flight of passage is a truly amazing experience and if you are a fan of all things Pandora you will want to check out Satu’li Canteen Animal Kingdom. Here you will get to try different foods inspired by the World of Pandora. We are going to go over the atmosphere, menu, price and more in our Satu'li Canteen review.
Whenever we are asked which Animal Kingdom quick service restaurant to go to we always recommend Satu'li Canteen. It is themed as a Resource Development Administration or RDA mess hall that was turned into Satu’li Canteen. This is where travellers to Pandora can enjoy some local food and check out the Na’vi items and artwork. There is both outdoor and indoor seating. The indoor seating is pretty large and can accommodate over 300 guests. It can get very busy and loud as it is themed as a repurposed mess hall.
The menu for Satu'li Canteen Disney World has healthier food options with grains, fresh vegetables and proteins. There are also vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. The main item on their menu is a create your own satu’li bowl. You get to choose your base, sauce and protein. There is grilled beef, chicken, shrimp and tofu. My favourite is the Satu'li Canteen Cheeseburger Pod. These are offered both on the adult and children's menu. It is a steamed Cheeseburger Pod stuffed with ground beef, ketchup, mustard, pickle, and cheddar cheese served with crunchy vegetable slaw and vegetable chips.
We have few tips you will want to keep in mind before you go to the park. Currently you need a park reservation to go in the park and dine at Satu'li Canteen. It is important to note that when it is busy if you want to sit inside you need to buy food. We have found the mobile order to very helpful and right now it is the only way to order food. Be sure to check a time slot early as they do book up and you don't want to be left hungry.
