Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar at Disney Springs

Are you a big fan of the Indiana Jones movies? Do you like finding unique bars to take a break when you are at Disney? Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar is Aron's favourite bars in Disney World. Our Disney dining review thoroughly goes through everything you need to know. 

Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar is an aviation themed bar based on the Indian Jones Movie. The indoor theming is amazing filled with aviation memorabilia. Outdoors you can sit on the water and enjoy Florida's wonderful weather. This restaurant has a very in-depth backstory. You may remember pilot Jock Lindsey from the Raiders of the Lost Ark. He is a member of the Society of Secrete Explorers and Adventurers. In 1938 he was chasing down a mythological based tip in central Florida and was attracted to the area. He then bought property, built an airplane hangar and invited fellow members of the society to visit. It is like no other bar we have ever visited. 

The location is right in the heart of Disney Springs in the Landing. It is near Wine Bar George and next to Boathouse. Depending where you are coming from you can take a boat, bus or drive. There is also a rideshare drop off. If you do drive remember to make a mental note of where you parked, as it is a large shopping complex. 

Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar review would not be complete without talking about their menu. Their drink menu is very extensive. There are cocktails, beer, cider, white wine, rose, beer flights and more. When we go we enjoy getting a few different appetizers and sharing them. The prices can be a bit steep. If it works in your schedule Happy Hour is a great option and is offered from 12-3 daily. Overall we would say that the value is worth the experience. It is typical Disney pricing and the food is made fresh. 

Disney Springs food has really stepped up their game in the last few years. There are lots of terrific unique restaurants with delicious quality food. It can make it hard to decide which one to visit. Regardless of where you decide to go be sure to make a reservation. It can be very busy and you don't want to be left hungry.
