Great location - Intercontinental Hotel Toronto
There are so many hotels in downtown Toronto, how do you know which one to stay at? You can find an Intercontinental Hotel in majors cities all around the world. We are going to give you an overview of the InterContinental Toronto Centre so you can decide if this hotel is right for you.
In our Toronto hotel review go over the location, theming, room tour, amenities, value and our overall thoughts. The Intercontinental Hotel Toronto offers a lot for guests to enjoy the city.
The Intercontinental Toronto Centre is located right downtown. It is sandwiched between union station which is the main transit hub for toronto, ripley's aquarium and the CN tower. It is also connected to the convention centre. The location is great for getting around the city and is very close to the popular tourist attractions and the waterfront. Its location to the Scotia Bank arena and the Skydome makes it a great hotel if you are coming in to catch a game or concert. This is also a very popular convention centre hotel as they are connected. Niagara falls is only about 120km or an hour and half away and we met a lot of people who were taking day tours to Niagara. There are a lot of downtown Toronto hotels but the Intercontinental hotel is unique because it is connected to the Convention Centre.
The theme of the Intercontinental Hotel is classic luxury. Around the lobby you can see modern art, marble and glass. The rooms have been renovated and we will get into more details on that later. The open concept of the lobby is nice and a great place to meet up with your group. The hotel has a restaurant called Azure. I love the glass enclosed canopy. It offers great views during the day or night. There is room service which is pretty much the same menu as Azure. The Intercontinental Toronto Centre was very well appointed for couples, work trips or families.
