Disney Tips I Wish I had Before My First Trip

There is a lot to take into consideration when booking a Disney trip. We have got the best top 10 Disney Tips for anyone visiting Disney for the first time. We go over everything from dining to resorts so be sure to check out our video.

We have made our fair share of Disney fails. We wanted to help you out so you wont make the same mistakes. Our first Disney tips for first timers is about dining reservations. There are so many wonderful and unique dining experiences in Disney. If there are restaurants you really want to try then we highly recommend booking a dining reservation. Currently you can make a reservation 60 days before your trip but keep checking as this can change. If you aren't able to get that favourite restaurant right away keep checking back, sometimes something opens up.

The second of our Disney tips and tricks is fast passes. Right now they are not offering fast passes but we think they will be coming back. This allows you to prebook a 1 hour hour time slot for 3 rides. This is a great time saver for rides with longer waits or to ensure you do get on that favourite ride. Also once you have used your three passes, you can book one more at a time.

Another of our Disney World tips for first timers is to research your Disney Resort. There are value, moderate and deluxe resorts. You may also want to consider which parks you are going to be spending the most time at and if you plan on going back and forth from your resort during the day. For example if you know you want to spend most of your time at Hollywood studios then staying at Boardwalk or Caribbean Beach might be good options.

Our next tip also fits into the category of Disney money saving tips. It is to be ready for Florida weather and to be comfortable. Florida weather can be predictably unpredictable. We can be at one park and it is pouring rain while our friends at the resort and not have any rain at all. We like to put an umbrella and some cheap ponchos in our bag so we are ready and the rain won't slow us down.

As we continue through our Disney Tips one is around covid requirements. Being covid cautious is good thing and helps you be prepared. Before you go be sure to check what the current covid protocols are so you are ready. Right now when visiting Disney you do need to wear a mask. We recommend bringing lots of extra ones so you can change them out during the day.

The last of our Disney Tips is to pace yourself. There is a lot to see and do with 4 parks, two water parks, golf courses, Disney Springs and all the resorts. Enjoy the moment, magic and it is okay to change your plan.
