Carnival Mardi Gras | Top New Features
We wanted to end the year on a high note with a positive cruise news video. Carnival has taken possession of the new Carnival Mardi Gras, and is getting ready for its first sailing, which is set for April 2021. The Carnival Mardi Gras ship is fill with amazing new features and technology. We review some of the top features on board, so stay tuned for all that and more.
Many new cruise ships are using Liquified Natural Gas. This is the first Carnival Cruise Ship and the first ship in the Americas to use LNG. This is big cruise ship news as LNG is considered the marine industries most advanced fuel technology, as it is more environmentally friendly and less expensive than other fuels.
Our cruise news update wouldn't be complete without reviewing some of the top features of the Mardi Gras. This ship is full of exciting new restaurants, bars and entertainment. There are 6 recognizably different zones on board to enjoy and explore. The zones are:
Grand Central
French Quarter
Summer Landing
La Piazza
Lido
The Ultimate Playground
We are so excited to check them out. Another first is the Bolt-The Ultimate Sea Coaster. This is an added cost but we expect it to be popular. The Carnival Mardi Gras is also decked out with an authentic Family Feud studio where they will be doing live recordings. Also included is the Serenity Adult only retreat. A peaceful and relaxing place to unwind after all the excitement. Another feature on the Mardi Gras is Street Eats. This is where you can find three open air stations that offer delicious street truck, stall and cart food. Each station has a different focus including steaming, skillets and frying. We are looking forward to trying out the unique dining and entertainment options on this ship.
We hope that you liked our cruise industry news update. Is there a top feature you think should have made our list? What is your favourite feature of a Carnival Cruise ship? Are there any cruise news stories you would like us to cover?
