We are so excited about the brand new Carnival Mardi Gras ship. We are going to share with you everything you need to know about dining on board the Mardi Gras. Some of them are favourites you will remember from other carnival ships but there is also lots of new offerings.
For a lot of people food is a big part of their cruise and vacation. The Carnival Mardi Gras dining options will not disappoint. There are over 10 dining options that are included in the cost of your cruise. Let's start with the Mardi Gras food that is included. Shaq's new chicken restaurant, Big Chicken, will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You don't need to worry about getting up early to enjoy breakfast, it is served until 3pm. There are also Carnival Cruise dining favourites like Guy's Burger Joint. Here you can get the best burgers at sea. A new dining option is Street Eats where you can enjoy the best street truck, stalls and cart flavours. There are three open air stations, each with their own focus. We also talk about the dining room, Guy's Pig and Anchor Bar-B-Que, Lidos Market Place, Swirls, Pizzeria Del Capitano and more. There is no shortage of included dining options on the Carnival Mardi Gras.
Additional charge dining options are a great opportunity for a special evening with your loved ones. There is a variety of fun and memorable experiences to choose from. If you are a fan of Guy Fieri you will want to try the Guy's Pig and Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse. Here you can enjoy brisket, salmon, mac and cheese and more. Pro tip, if you go there for lunch it is free. Our everything you need to know Mardi Gras food would not be complete without mentioning the new Rudi's Seagrill. This new dining restaurant experience is so much fun, your food will be smiling back at you. Another experience I would like to try is the Green Eggs and Ham breakfast. This family fun event will take you into the world of Dr. Suess with bright colours, magical food and character meets. These are just a few of the additional charge dinning options on the Mardi Gras. Check out our video for the full list.
The new carnival ship will still offer the three dining times that you are used to. There is an early seating, later seating and your time open seating. When you book your cruise you can choose your preference. The early seating is at 6:00pm, the later seating is 9pm and your time dining is between 5:15 and 9pm. Be sure to talk with your party so you can choose the best option for you.
