Brand New Nassau Cruise Port Tour!!!!
Today we are going to the new Nassau Cruise Port. Cruisers have been waiting and watching this construction for a long time. What has changed? What do you need to bring if you are stropping at the Nassau cruise port? We are going to take you on a full Nassau Cruise Port tour tell you everything you need to know about the port so you can prepare for your day.
This new Nassau cruise port cost over 300 million dollars and offers cruisers new experiences and highlights Bahamian culture. It only opened to passengers on May 27, 2023 and is called Prince George Wharf. The Nassau cruise port 2023 looks very different than it did in the past, so if you have visited previously you are going to want to check this video out. To help organize this video we have broken it down to 5 categories, we are going to go over arrivals and departures, port atmosphere which is where you will notice some big changes, food and dining, and finally what is near the port and what you need to bring.
For our Nassau cruise we were sailing on the Disney wish and when we were at port so were two other large cruise ships but it never felt that busy. The Nassau Bahamas cruise port you will find 6 berths, including 3 that fit oasis class ships and 3 small ships, this means more passengers than before visiting Bahamas. If you booked an excursions with your cruise line there is space right on the dock for you to meet up with your excursion group. The update includes maps to help you find out where to go. With all this Nassau has secured the 2nd place for most busy Caribbean cruise port next to Cozumel but we will see if it overtakes Cozumel in the next few years.
