All New Odyssey Of The Seas - Top 10 Features
There are lots of amazing new cruise ships with their inaugural sailings set for 2021. The Odyssey of the Seas is the newest Royal Caribbean ship and has an inaugural sailing set for this April. We are going to share with you the top 10 Features and some frequently asked questions so stay tuned for all that and more.
Let's get started with a few stats about The Odyssey of the Seas cruise ship. It has some great new features as well as some popular Royal Caribbean classics. The Odyssey of the Seas will be sailing in Europe and the US. The ship is 347 metres long and 41 metres wide. That means the length is about as tall as the empire state building. This mega ship can accommodate 4, 284 passengers and 1,550 crew. The Royal Caribbean Odyssey of the Sea has something to offer everyone if you want to stay busy or relax in a lounge chair.
Instead of doing a traditional Odyssey of the Seas ship tour we wanted to go over the 10 Ten features. Many of these we can not wait to try. The first feature is the SeaPLex which is the largest indoor activity centre at sea. If you are on the more adventurous side you can check out the bumper cars, trapeze and interactive VR games. This area will also host the Clash for the Crystal City, which is the ultimate glow in the dark laser tag. You can reserve when you are on board, you need to be at least 5 years old and it is free. This new cruise ship is taking entertained and activities to the next level.
If you are looking to unwind and enjoy the sun then the two story pool deck is where you will be spending most of your time. There are two resort style pools, four whirlpools and the Splashaway bay for kids. For adults there is the Solarium which has swimming pools, whirlpools, a full service bar and more. This area has a really nice tropical theme with the colours, loungers, and cabanas.
Royal Caribbean cruise ships have some great signature productions but they are stepping up their game on the Odyssey of the sea. With superb talent, immersive technology and amazing special effects you are definitely going to want to check out the new Two70. During the day it is a gourmet cafe. This is a great area to enjoy the amazing two story 270 degree floor to ceiling windows with views of what's behind the ship. At night it transforms into a new age multimedia theatre. These shows are included and you can reserve with your cruise planner when onboard. I definitely want to check out the Two70 Odyssey of the seas theatre.
