20 New Cruise Ships coming in 2021

We have some big cruise line news to cover this week. There will be 20 new cruise ships hitting the waters in 2021. There has also been an update from Canada's Ministry of Transportation that will impact many peoples travel plans in 2021. All that and more so be sure to check out our cruise news today.

Today we are going to look at 20 new ocean cruise ships that will be debuting in 2021. You may have heard of some of these as they may have been delayed from 2020 or haven't had a chance to sail with passengers yet. This is a very exciting cruise line news update as these ships are all unique and spectacular in their own way. One that we are particularly excited for and hoping to travel on this year is Carnival Cruise Lines new Mardi Gras. This is a 5,300 passenger ship with a roller coaster and over 20 restaurant choices. MSC also has a new ship this year called the MSC Seashore. This ship has the largest ratio of outdoor space to guests of any cruise ship in their fleet. Right now it is scheduled to be in the Mediterranean for the summer and Bahamas and the Caribbean starting in November. Many travellers are interested in cruise news about the caribbean as this is one of the largest markets. We have enjoyed our trips on Princess cruises and are looking forward to their new Medallion class vessel the Enchanted Princess. It will feature keyless stateroom entry, beverage delivery and more. Viking will also be welcoming the Viking Venus which is a 930 passenger ship with an infinity pool and in the spa there is a snow grotto. I know that is something Aron would be interested in trying. We also share the new Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Holland America's new cruise ship and more.

Our final cruise news update for this week addresses cruising in Canada. Canada has extended the cruise ban for 2021. This is especially important for anyone who is planning to do an Alaska or east coast cruise. That said there is no ban on ships that ferry 100 or fewer guest, this ban will only apply to ships taking on 100 or more guest. This is disappointing for many cruisers.

We hope that you liked our video about different cruise line updates. Do you have a trip booked on one of the new cruise ships? What are your thoughts about Canada extending the ban? Are there any cruise news stories you would like us to cover?
